History

Welcome to The Flora Building, an ornate, architectural gem that reflects the rich history of Hamtramck. Originally commissioned by Liberty State Bank in 1928, the first half of the building captures the essence of the 1920s. In the 1960s, a modern addition was seamlessly integrated, connected by a skywalk that enhances the unique experience of exploring both eras. As you stroll through this remarkable space, you'll discover a captivating blend of history and contemporary design.
